System fault LED indicator - how to find reason?
Hi,
a few days ago we noticed that the active one of our 5800 cluster (VSX) has a blinking system fault led indicator.
Unfortunately I can't find any hints on what that could be caused by...
cpview shows that everything seems fine (fans, PSU, etc.)
The current logs don't show any issues either.
SmartConsole status is also fine.
We went to 80.40 T78 about 10 days ago - Afterwards this led indicator was noticed by an engineer.
Could the upgrade be the reason? Or do you guys know if there is any way to detailed documentation or log entry that triggered the led indicator?
Is there a way to reset it?
Thanks in advance!

See Check Point 5000 Appliances Getting Started Guide p. 37f:
If an appliance encounters a BIOS failure, it will boot up from a recovery, read-only BIOS image that enables full functionality of the appliance.
These notifications are shown in the event of a BIOS failure:
• The appliance's Alert LED on the front panel will blink red.
• The Gaia WebUI Hardware Health window shows that the BIOS sensor is Invalid and its status is Off.
To recover from a BIOS failure, see sk108517 (http://supportcontent.checkpoint.com/solutions?id=sk108517) or contact Check Point support. The appliance is fully functional until the BIOS recovery is completed.
