Seeing really old Threads with very long (incorrect) spike durations in messages

Anyone else seen anything like this?
I've had a couple of high cpu usage issues recently (we have lots of users/traffic so some cpu spikes are expected)
where some really old threads are showing as cpu spikes with duration times of days.
Is this the spike detective getting confused because of old /reused thread numbers or something?
