Hi,
just recognized that obviously the format for other patches changed as well?
Central Deployment Tool (CDT) v1.9.5
-> download as CDT package ->CentralDeploymentTool_V1.9.5.tgz
-> download as CPUSE package -> Check_Point_CDT_Bundle_T26_FULL.tar
And version v1.9.4.
CentralDeploymentTool_990180623_1.tgz
Little bit confusing, at least for me.
And the release notes. What has been fixed?

I do appreciate the new package format - CPUSE is easier to handle compared with CLI installation !
hi,
me too. CPUSE (Gaia clish) is very stable in our environment.
If every package is via CPUSE, it would be great! (HCP, CDT, upgrade tools, DA and...)
But it is sometimes not the case and when you have multiple packages on you local directories to distribute them across the landscape, it might be better to have either a clear format or to 'screenshot' the download details from usercenter.
Regards
Central Deployment Tool (CDT) is only installed on SMS / MDS - so you will not have other than CPUSE packages in the local repository for the GWs. So the .tgz is the legacy package 8).

I was under impression that CPUSE supports uninstall of packages. At least it did work for hotfixes.
Perhaps it is already on the roadmap.

Installation cannot be undone. It is recommended to save a Gaia Snapshot before you continue. Continue? ([y]es / [n]o)
Indeed as stated - the CPUSE format is the new one and easier to use.
We will add some more details regarding the content to allow ore clarity regarding the difference between the versions.
Thanks very much for the comment
