Is it possible to continue to use the interface names of an appliance on an open server?
On the open server under:
/etc/udev/rules.d/00-OS-XX.rules
from
...NAME="eth0"
to
...NAME="External"
You can cange the interface name from "ethx" to the appliance interface name for example "External".
Then you must reboot the system.

I'm at the center this minute. Thanks for the quick help. It worked fine. I'll give you a badge.
I would recommend to always use the interface names of new appliance/open server, because such things as tinkering with udev-rules and so on are much more trouble (maybe not at first but later), than changing your clish configuration accordingly...
