LOM for 6900 set IP
Hi,
Refresher onhow to configure the IP address, mask and gw of the LOM on a 6900 appliance. There is no LED panel in front so I'm planning this. We are on the command line but unsure of the commands. Going in this way with admin / admin & putting in the ip address. Working on the syntax now.
Connect a serial terminal emulator to the serial console port using the following parameters:
Baud rate: 9600 Data: 8 bit Parity: none Stop: 1 bit Flow control: none
Connect a 10/100/1000 Mbit Network cable to the Console port.
- Log in to console with these credentials (assuming the user did not change the '
admin
' password):
User:admin
Password:admin
- was able to set up eth1 for INT access (SSH & web ui)
-
set lom ip-address trying to figure out how to get to the LOM console
