Are there "alive" hosts on the segment that can be reached or is there a connectivity issue with the VLAN/Interface etc?

Yes, one of the interface has some issues so client made it down

Ok so this is very likely the reason. Is anything still unclear?

But this interface not in use as per client and they kept shutdown. However, we are receiving below alerts

High Availability (HA) 'Local Probing' status is problem

could you please suggest how to resolve this?

Sounds like this interface is configured as a cluster interface, but you shut it down, so the cluster nodes cannot verify this interface is healthy.  If you don't want it used, you have to remove it from the topology in SmartConsole.  If you are having issues on the one interface and only on the one cluster node, then set that cluster node state to down:

clusterXL_admin down

Is it not used on both cluster members any longer or just one?

There are options that can be explored as follows:

- Set the interface as private

- Remove the interface from the cluster
