As I know, checkpoint is able to support Dense Mode (PIM-DM), Sparse Mode (PIM-SM) and Source-Specific Multicast Mode (PIM-SSM).
How about PIM-Bidirectional mode?
Appreciate if someone could enlighten me.
Thanks
You did read sk100239: PIM on Gaia OS and do know which PIM Modes are currently supported by CheckPoint. Bidir-PIM is not commonly used, why the need for it ?
sk100239 did introduce the concept of bidirectional PIM mode but it is not mention supported by checkpoint specifically.
I check the gaia clish command, there are three options below only:
dense - Enable Dense Mode
sparse - Enable Sparse Mode
ssm - Enable Source Specific Multicast Mode
Thanks
sk100239 shows that it exists as a concept, but it is not implemented in CP SW.
