End Of Support around the corner (May 2021)
Hi,
I'm trying to disable the web service on a 2200 HA pair.
These firewalls did run the Mobile Access Blade as a test but this is now disabled as is all the check boxes relating to this that I could find.
They are running Secure Remote but surely this doesn't need a web service running on the outside interface.
Does anyone know how this can be disabled?
Gaia runs on 4434 on an inside interface so there's really no need for 443 to be active on the outide interface.
Can anyone help me here?
Thanks.
Multiportal (most likely) is the culprit.
It is a kernel process that allows multiple processes to use the same IP/port.
This can be disabled as described here: HTTP and HTTPS requests to external interfaces create implied rule 0 accepts in SmartView Tracker
