Changing of the Gateway IP from public to private

We need to update the IP address of the gateway from public to private in the Manager . What steps need to be taken for the same.  What addition , deletion or creation is required.

How is the manager reaching the gateway in this case?
Is it via the interface that will presumably change IPs or a different interface?
Is the Security Management (what SmartConsole connects to) a separate from the Firewall?

Thank you for replying . Manager is reaching through internet currently we need to change the connectivity to MPLS . It is mapped to external interface IP currently and that needs to be changed to internal interface IP of the Firewall.
Yes it is currently via internet facing interface and we need to change it to  internal interface IP now in the manager.
Yes manager is separate from the firewall.

Configure the MPLS network, change the management interface on the gateways, make sure management and gws are reachable via MPLS, reset the SIC to the gateways from SmartConsole, reset the SIC on every gateway and initiate a new SIC via the private network and install a policy.

Hello Martin,
Can you also confirm on the below two points regarding the solution suggested above.

• The change will be service disruptive impacting production traffic.
• After the change will test users be required to test production services.

What if the connection is not MPLS and the connection is located with IPSEC VPN?
