CP vs Gateway Error (Segmentation fault, Error compiling IPV4 flavor)

Hi Mates,

We have a Checkpoint VSX-enabled security gateway running R81.10 JHF 139. While installing a policy on one of the VS, I encountered the attached error. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Thanks,

Hi All,

  • We opened a TAC and the error also similar with  sk17970 after upgrading the SMS JHF to 169
  • We ran the following command and installed policy
  • ckp_regedit -a SOFTWARE\\CheckPoint\\MGMT\\6.0 NAT_RULEBASE_USE_ANY_LISTS 1
  • We disabled the command and tested to confirm, when disabled policy fails
  • ckp_regedit -a SOFTWARE\\CheckPoint\\MGMT\\6.0 NAT_RULEBASE_USE_ANY_LISTS 0

Thanks for your support guys the issue is resolved

Hey bro,

I would call TAC and ask if below sk is relevant, as it says there is fix for it.

Based on https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk179936 you should contact TAC for a hotfix

Policy installation fails with "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" and "error compiling IPv4 flavor"
