Hi,
I configured iBGP on my firewall, just one AS and two peer (my firewall and the other router) thats OK, I'm trying to configure another peer in the same AS, Im wondering if the configuration made is like local (between my fw and new peer) or is global for the AS.
Does anyone know?
Thanks, David.
Which configuration option/s, are you using peer groups?
set bgp internal peer <IP Address> [tab]
Im not BGP expert, but if its another peer, I assume it should be eBGP?
Hi,
AFAIK, as its the same AS, its still iBGP.
David.
Sorry, I did not realize that, but you are correct. Same AS would be iBGP.
I see only an option for the import policy for an iBGP peer:
r81gw1> set bgp internal peer 192.168.2.2 [tab]
import-routemap - Configure import policy
r81gw1>
r81gw1> set bgp internal peer 192.168.2.2 import-routemap ?
Configure import policy for the given BGP peer group or peer.
Value: the name of a Route Map
If route maps are configured for both a peer and its peer group
the peer group route maps will be ignored for that peer.
r81gw1> set bgp internal peer 192.168.2.2 import-routemap <name>
