BCM57810S NIC 2.5GBPS and Checkpoint

I'm running R81 on a custom built open server on Bell Fibe. Their SFP+ NIC in their own hardware runs at 2.5gbps to allow 1.5GBPS download and 1GBPS upload. However the NIC I have is limited to 1/10gbps meaning I am leaving alot of bandwidth on the table right now. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the BCM57810S based NICs and if they are able to be set to 2.5gbps on a Checkpoint Firewall running on open server?  I don't want to buy one of these NICs just to find out its still 1/10gbps on Checkpoint.

Has anyone had any success with any SFP+ NICs that run at 2.5gbps at all?

If there is one listed on the HCL I'd start there...

There is not, at least not one that states 2.5gbps support.
