Hey guys,
Wondering if someone would be kind enough to try this in their lab to see if they get similar to what I got on mine. It essentially just does basic check for disk space as far as whats needed for the upgreade:
[Expert@CP-GW:0]# ./cp_upgrade_space_check.sh
== Disk free space (MB / GB) ==
PATH MOUNTPOINT AVAIL(MB) AVAIL(GB)
/ / 38005 37.11
/var/log /var/log 41274 40.31
/boot /boot 230 0.22
/opt / 38005 37.11
/home / 38005 37.11
/var / 38005 37.11
/tmp / 38005 37.11
== Baseline upgrade prerequisite checks ==
Method: CPUSE (baseline prerequisites)
- / must have >= 20480 MB (20480/1024 GB) free
- /var/log must have >= 20480 MB (20480/1024 GB) free to import & extract
[OK] / has 38005 MB free
[OK] /var/log has 41274 MB free
Note: Release note guidance also references >= 10 GB free in /var/log for clean install/upgrade success. (Baseline only; verifier is authoritative.)
Tip: For the most accurate 'minimum required per directory', import/list your target CPUSE package and run:
installer list
./cp_upgrade_space_check.sh --package "<exact package name>"
[Expert@CP-GW:0]#
Best,
Andy
