Quantum Spark upgrade procedure when managed by Smart-1 Cloud

Hello Team

I would like to ask about the upgrade procedure for Quantum Spark.

  • The version is R81.10.10.

  • In my environment, the policies are managed by Smart-1 Cloud.

  • In the Quantum Spark Web Console, I can see the “Check Now” button, but the “Update Now” button does not appear.

In this situation, what is the correct way to upgrade the Quantum Spark?
If anyone has encountered the same situation or knows the procedure, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Ah, I should have checked that first, thanks for the correction.
If you're not seeing the relevant options on the local interface @TSOL I suggest contacting TAC.

You are absolutely correct @TSOL . I also worked with a client who had this problem and TAC helped them fox it. They never told me what was done (I should have asked them afterwards, but totally forgot), but TAC case and remote session is your best bet.

Best,

Andy

This can be done through SmartConsole.
Right-click on the relevant gateway object in the Gateways and Servers view and select Actions > Version Upgrade.

Hi, unfortunately PhoneBoy is not possible. With Smart-1 Cloud, among the various limitations (see limitations here), it is not available from the Smart Console.

To perform the updates, you can use the local interface of the Spark gateway and upload the Local Installation package, for example the current release available here: sk183153.
