I am aware that by using userlogin attr you are able to authenticate with upn instead of samaccountname.
Is there a way to login with netbiosdomainname\username instead ?
Thanks
I never seen that done before, because technically, when you integrate AD server in account unit in dashboard, you can then use it with ldap groups or access roles (if IA is enabled) for VPN access, but it would pull actual AD usernames. I will see if I can test this in the lab and let you know.
Did you have the time to test it ?
Really sorry, forgot to answer back after testing. Yes, I did and it did not work, so its possible it might not work by default. I will let someone from CP confirm 100%.
