No connection to clients after installation of Check Point Mobile Access E86.50

Hello all,

For some time, in our company, devices on which we install Check Point Mobile Access E86.50 can no longer be pinged. Also accessing the devices using other services like SMB, RDP, VNC, RPC, (...) is not possible anymore.

Are you sure you installed it as Check Point Mobile (versus Endpoint Security VPN)?

Currently, we install the software via a software distribution system as follows.

  1. Execute: MsiExec.exe /Fvomus "E86.50_CheckPointVPN.msi" REBOOT=REALLYSUPPRESS /qn
  2. Changing the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Checkpoint\TRAC\
    client_sub_type
    to "Mobile"

What does your endpoint policy look like? Does it allow the mentioned connectivity in the first place?
