I have a question regarding the "Detailed action plan for removing an interface from cluster topology (R80.10 and above)" listed in sk57100.
Point 1 F says:
"Remove the Virtual IP address from the pair of the interfaces that should be removed from Cluster object topology."
- Perform these steps in SmartConsole (before removing an interface from Cluster object topology, set it to 'Private'):
- Open the cluster object properties.
- Go to the 'ClusterXL and VRRP' pane.
- Under the 'Upon cluster member recovery' section, make sure the 'Maintain current active Cluster Member' option is selected.
- Go to the 'Network Management' pane.
- Highlight the interface by clicking on it once and then click on 'Edit' button.
- Remove the Virtual IP address from the pair of the interfaces that should be removed from Cluster object topology.
- In the 'Network Type' dropdown, select 'Private' (for the interfaces that should be removed from Cluster object topology). This will remove the interface from the Cluster and it will not send/receive any CCP packets - hence any change that can happen to the interface on either cluster member will not cause a failover
- Click on 'OK' to apply the changes.
- Proceed with installing the relevant policy to that cluster

Then further on down, Point 5 C says to do the same again…
- Perform these steps in SmartConsole:
- Open Cluster object properties.
- Go to the 'Network Management' and then highlight the interface by clicking on it once and then click on 'Edit' button.
- Remove the Virtual IP Address from the interface.
- Remove the interface from the Topology table from each member.
- Click on 'OK' to apply the changes.
- Go to the 'ClusterXL and VRRP' pane.
- Under the 'Upon cluster member recovery' section, select the desired setting.
- Install the relevant policy onto the cluster object.

I don't understand. How can I possibly Remove the Virtual IP Address twice in SmartConsole?
