scheduled report via mail not happening

Hi,

Requirement : Scheduled report via mail.

We are having issue where we are getting an error while authenticating with gmail.

MGMT running on R81,10 latest take.

error: test failed "could not authenticate using the credentials provided, check the user name and password"

- We are able to telnet smtp.gmail.com

- no proxy configured on mgmt or gw and full internet access have been given for mgmt.

- no 2fa authentication for gmail.

- tcpdump shows smooth connection flow.

- mail credentials are proper.

- we have tried all the combination in tls, ssl and port 25,587, but no luck.

looking for suggestions.

You are using an App-Specific password for the Gmail SMTP server, correct?
You can’t just use your gmail account password…that won’t work, particularly if you have MFA enabled on your Google account
