Abstract:

SmartConsole is a unified application that provides a consolidated management solution for Check Point’s R80.20 Infinity Architecture. SmartConsole is compatible with Microsoft Windows.
By utilising a Windows Server’s ability to publish applications as a “RemoteApp”, we are able to access the application on a variety of platforms, including macOS, iOS & Android. To accomplish this, we will perform the following steps:
- Install remote desktop services on Windows Server
- Publish Check Point’s SmartConsole as a RemoteApp on Windows Server
- Configure the client (macOS in this example) to access the RemoteApp
