What is the maximum number of objects we can create in both On-prem and Smart-1 cloud SMS

Hi Team, 

 

Is there any limit on the number of objects we can create in On-Prem SMS and Smart-1 Cloud.

And also, does the number change for different Gaia versions ?

What is included in the term "objects" will have a strong influence on numbers - simple IP-based hosts are very small compared to cluster objects 😉. Simply spoken, there are table and database size limitation, but no simple catch-all number of objects...

There’s never been a precise limit.
That said, more objects and more rules always translates to more management complexity.
