Trying to upgrade from MDS R80.30 --> R80.40, No upgrade option in CPUSE

Hi

Trying to upgrade from MDS R80.30 --> R80.40, No upgrade option can be seen in CPUSE

I have attached the CPUSE options I see. Could you please advise where is UPGRADE option is?

It shows the .tgz file I am using and for a fresh install this file works and allows by verifier but I want upgrade, dont want to do fresh install of R80.40. Pls advise.

Many thanks

Do you have the latest CPUSE agent build?
Are you using Global policies? If so, you need to reassign them.

Check CP_R80.40_Installation_and_Upgrade_Guide.pdf > Upgrading one Multi-Domain Server from R80.20 and higher with CPUSE

Thanks funkylicious!

My deployment agent is latest 1928  and  R80.30 take 200 is the MDS version.

I am using this file - Check_Point_R80.40_T294_Fresh_Install_and_Upgrade.tgz. I am not sure why I cant see upgrade in CPUSE. Could you please advise a bit more?

Many thanks

Thanks funkylicious!

I have attached 2 screenshots, could it be because I have not licensed the product, because of that I am not seeing *upgrade* option in CPUSE?

Could it be the reason?

Thanks

I think, in my case I didnt license R80.30 yet, so it doesnt allow me to *upgrade* to R80.40. CPUSE only allows a fresh install, in that case, when R80.30 is unlicensed.

Thanks for your initial reply funkylicious.

I had the same issue, no option to upgrade only clean install.

When running verifier, the results were that i have no space in current partition... needs 20Gb at least to perform upgrade..

After resizing the partition i was able to see the optioin to upgrade.
