Hi Guys
I am trying to snapshot our management server, however we dont have enough space.
I believe they get saved using "unallocated" space
When I boot in maintenance mode and run lvm_manager, I cannot increase this unallocated space.
I have attached some screenshots.
What are my options here guys? what do I need to do
Cheers
You can increase the storage of your VM.
You can follow this SK: https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk94671
Hi, we have already done that on vmware and its made no difference, the gaia OS doesnt see it
What does lvm_manager show? Any unallocated space left? Nm, I see from your first screenshot. Since there is some space left, can you boot into maintenance mode, run lvm_manager and see if needed partition can be extended?
Andy
Hi, it shows 34GB unallocated, I need 39GB for snapshot.
I need to know how to increase this unallocated space. We did add another disk in VMware, but when we type fdisk -l in maintenance mode we do not see the new disk anywhere.
Any ideas ?
The only method I know is what @Amir_Senn sent (that same SK). Maybe confirm with TAC to see if something may had been missed?
