After the SMS server has been upgraded and hotfix applied, the upgrade process fails during database import with the following error message:

After checking the /home/admin folder, I could not trace the /temp-export/ folder as it was deleted shortly after extraction.
Also, the migrate logs ends with the following part section.

I believe this may be a bug with the default CPupgrade-tools-R82 scripts.
From my analysis, it appears that the R82 upgrade images (both ISO and Blink-HF34) ship with an older version of the CPupgrade-tools-R82 package, which seems to have a bug. On the affected system, the build number is:
[Expert@SMS-PRI:0]# cpprod_util CPPROD_GetValue CPupgrade-tools-R82 BuildNumber
1998001093After deploying a new management server with R82 JHF34 and manually updating to the latest CPupgrade-tools-R82, I no longer encounter the error when importing the database. The updated build shows:
[Expert@SMS-PRI:0]# cpprod_util CPPROD_GetValue CPupgrade-tools-R82 BuildNumber
1998001165I will let you know if the upgrade is successful.

@Eran_Habad the R82 ISO/Blink images need to be updated with working upgrade tools.
Import was successful with the latest upgrade tools.

I faced the same issue , however after upgrading the upgrade tools and import again i faced another issue which saying the disk space is not enough but its actually a new box with no config and the disk space is sufficient.
Hi.
Did you ever resolve this? I'm getting the same issue.
Hi,
I managed to resolved this by upgrading the deployment agent as well. Which means we have to make sure upgrade tools and deployment agents is up to date to the latest. Hopes this helps.
Best Regards,
Keon
