SMS Log storage extend

Hi,

 

My customer facing issue regarding log storage space problem. I want to increase the log storage. 

My Questions

1. How much storage i can add to SMS ? [SMS version 81.10 in VM]

2. What is the best practice ? is it sk94671 .

Hi,

1. This depends on the log rate and log retention needs. You can check how much storage each day of logs needs (+ indexes if need them as well) and multiply it by number of days you want to retain this logs.

2. Yes, follow the SK.
