SK104848 missing (Security Management Server on VMware ESX)
Hello dear community.
The SK104848 was about Best Practices - Performance Optimization of Security Management Server installed on VMware ESX Virtual Machine. Now, I cannot find the SK, I think, it's not a long time ago, that I read it. Is there any other SK for recommendations about installing Security Management Server on VMware ESX, that superseded the SK104848?
Thanks

Yes, it was removed. Please use https://support.checkpoint.com/results/sk/sk178325 for sizing guidance.

Thanks a lot for the link! The old SK104848 hat some recommendations about Security Management, which is virtualized on ESX (SCSI Adapter, network Adapter and Disk provisioning). I wonder, if these points still need to be considered.

To a point, yes. The older SK was mostly covering the older versions of Gaia, its kernel, and Vmware. You do want to apply reasonable config to the VM and exclude sharing resources, if possible. With the new file system and kernel, however, these actions are much less critical than before.
