R81 migrate_server verify runs successfully but no output logs?

Hi, I'm about to upgrade a R80.30 management server from R80.30 to R81.10.

Have checked that the R81 upgrade tools are installed OK.

I've run the ./migrate_server verify -v R81.10 and it runs successfully with the following output -

"# ./migrate_server verify -v R81.10
The verify operation finished successfully.

Notes:
1. It is recommended to use the latest upgrade tools package. The latest package is installed automatically on online environments, for upgrade of offline environments refer to sk135172.
2. Only latest revision will be upgraded. It is recommended to publish important changes before upgrade. Unpublished changes will be lost.
3. Run the upgrade verification on all servers in your environment before you upgrade."

However, I do not see any logs in either the of the two locations mentioned in the R81 CLI Reference -

If this command completes successfully, it creates this log file:
/var/log/opt/CPshrd-R81.10/migrate-<YYYY.MM.DD_
HH.MM.SS>.log
For example: /var/log/opt/CPshrd-R81.10/migrate-2019.06.14_11.03.46.log
n If this command fails, it creates this log file:
$CPDIR/log/migrate-<YYYY.MM.DD_HH.MM.SS>.log
For example: /opt/CPshrd-R81.10/log/migrate-2019.06.14_11.21.39.log

All I see is the migrate logs from the previous upgrade I did a couple of years ago from R77.30 to R80.30 (advanced upgrade that time, will be a CPUSE upgrade this time).

Any ideas where the output should be? or is the "The verify operation finished successfully" all that you see if it finds no issues?

Regards,

Jen.

I would assume that verify just does not produce a log. It would show errors if the verify fails, but not more.

Gunter is correct...Im 100% positive that successful verify step does not produce any logs at all. If it failed, as he said, then you would get something.

Thanks for the replies and info.

It wasn't obvious from the Upgrade/Install docs and CLI ref what the output should be, but you have cleared that up, cheers.
