R80.x Multi-Domain backup restore

I was just wondering if anyone else running Multi-Domain environment has noticed how painfully slow backup restore has become? Something that used to take less than half an hour on R77.30 is now nearly 2hrs. And all due to SOLR DB being out of sync (sk116014). Real pain for lab environments where one constantly needs to restore to certain MDM config level. Any good ideas how to decrease restore times would be great!
