Host Object multiple IPs

Hi Mates,

sometimes we have internal Systems with more than one IP.
I figured out that rule set works adding additional IPs in the Host Object's - Network Management Section.

So far so good - is this the correct way for this usecase?
In the past we created "dummy" objects with the addtional IP....

Second question: I cannot find the IPs that were defined in the Network Management Section.
Neither via Object Explorer or Objects Side bar or when hit the plus button in the Source/Destination field.
Is this by desgin or a bug?

We use SmartConsole R81.20.9700.665

Cheers,
David

Adding the additional IPs to the Network Management tab is one way to do it.
Other options include dummy objects or to use something like a Generic Data Center object or even a Network Feed.

When searching by IP for an object in Object Explorer, it's only searching Main IP.

You got it, thats exactly how its done. I actually confirmed this with TAC while back as well.

What @PhoneBoy said all makes sense as well.
