We have MDSM server, for each firewall in a domain we create separate policy package. if we modify/add/delete a policy for particular policy package, we see changes appear for all the policy package. Couldnt understand why the diffs are seen on other policy packages.
Any help would be appriciated
Thanks
Hi,
can't see that here.
IMHO, Modifying a rule/object in a policy does not change other policy inside the same domain.
( assuming not changing an object which is used on all policies)
Perhaps https://extensions.checkpoint.com/changes-report/extension.json might help to find the changed objects?
Regards
Yes, Not modifying any objects. just deleting exisiting rule in policy pakage, i see its showing changes in all policy package.
If the layer in question is used in multiple policy packages, it would impact other policy packages.
