Can't access GUI

I keep getting error 403 on my chrome browser.
Installed GAIA inside a VMware, when I want to access it to configure it for the first time, it goes beyond "not trusted certificate" but then throws 403 error on me.
Can anybody help me how to resolve this, thanks!

I would start with elimination simple issues:

1) Clean the cache in your browser

2) Try using a different browser from the same machine

3) Try using a different machine

4) use tcpdump to see that connection is reaching the machine

HTH (to start with)

Hi Nidza,

Internet Explorer is the browser that works best with Check Point (in my experience anyway).

So, please do the following and let us know of the results:

1) Confirm that you have connectivity to the gateway by pinging it. You might want to do fw unload local first via the cli.

2) From Internet Explorer, https to the gateway.

A solution that consists of using IE is no solution at all ! I have used FireFox for CP SPLAT/GAiA WebGUI successfully during the last decade, so why use IE ???
