CP R80.10

Hello All,

I am unable to delete the Checkpoint folder inside program files x86 ,even from admin account,it says i dont have permission.

It is best to remove through Windows Add and Remove Programs. There are traces of SmartConsole in the registry and Windows will wipe them all.

Portable SmartConsole is prone to issues:

I have the SmartConsole Build 029 installed and operational. Afterwards, downloaded and unzipped the portable Build 029. Running it results in:

I have seen this behavior previously on earlier builds and had no luck running portable version.

that shouldn't happen... this error message indicates that your client SmartConsole does not match the JHF installed on the Security Management Server. And if you don't see this error message with the installed SmartConsole that means they're not really coming from the same build. Can you share the links?

Hi Tomer.

The installed version is:

And is working perfectly fine.

The portable version was downloaded from:

https://supportcenter.checkpoint.com/supportcenter/portal?eventSubmit_doGoviewsolutiondetails=&solut... 

and, according to the:

is 991140029, R80_10_jumbo_hf.

Incidentally, the portable version failed to connect to the the "Demo Mode" as well with the same message.
