Did you know? Portable SmartConsole for R80.10

Follow sk116158 for instructions of portable copy-and-paste of the SmartConsole GUI client for your Windows machine.

Make sure that you have the prerequisites already installed (4 Microsoft add-ons and frameworks)

This way you can achieve a silent installation of the client, with no special admin privileges during the installation.

Hi

I get the following error when I try to run the portable SmartConsole

Error creating the Web Proxy specified in the 'system.net/defaultProxy' configuration section.

All prerequisites are installed, and I'm running smartconsole.exe as admin

This issue could happen when running the portable version from a networking drive due to Windows default security definitions. Is that the case?
