Backup gateway VM and management VM using Rubrik backup

Is it possible to use Rubrik to backup Vmware VMs of gateways and management? Is it supported? Any ifs and buts? I've searched in Check Point User Center and wide on the Internet and havn't found anything.

sk116868 describes what is supported here.

Generally it's the GAIA provided snapshot/backup/export with some limited exceptions as indicated in the SK.
