Is it possible to monitor the throughput of an access rule - specifically one that I've enabled a bw limit?
Thanks
Antonio
Hi, would you mind elaborating what would you use this for? Just to double-check that the limit works as expected?
Is this something that the rule hit count can help with?
Hi Tomer, we need to monitor the bw consumption of certain applications. I'm not sure if we can do it using CheckPoint monitor tools.
Set the log column to accounting.
Hi Maarten, It is set. But how can I see the counters? Thanks
When you have SmartEvent/Reporting, this will be able to show you the bandwidth usage.
On R77.30 you will be able to see the bytes usage per session, you could export those and graph it in Excel.
Hi Maarten. I'm using SmartEvent in R80.10. I'm unable to find a graphic that shows me bps for a specific fw rule
In SmartEvent you need to look at access control, here you can filter on application and see the bandwidth usage.
