„ip-conflicts-monitor“ not available under gclish in SG

Following the documentation Detection of IP Address Conflicts you can monitor duplicate IP addresses. I tried but the option does not exist.

FW> show ip-conflicts-monitor
CLINFR0329 Invalid command:'show ip-conflicts-monitor'.

FW> set ip-conflicts-monitor on
CLINFR0329 Invalid command:'set ip-conflicts-monitor on'.

This command is available on normal gateways but not with Maestro. Is it a bug or how it is?

It appears this was missed when the SP codebase was merged into maintrain.
R&D is now aware of it and are looking at closing this gap.
A TAC case may be useful for tracking purposes.

I don't see any documentation or TAC cases on this.
I'll ask internally.

Thanks Dameon, I‘ll open a TAC case for follow up.

I think this is the same command you posted about recently. I also looked, cant find anything for maestro.

You‘re right @the_rock . I checked your results on some other environments. It’s available with VSX, ClusterXL and single gateway. But not in a Maestro SecurityGroup, that‘s why I post additional under Maestro.

What if you run it on normal clish from a gateway? Maybe gclish is typo in documentation.

I have no idea aswell, should be TAC case.

Able to see arp table?

Just an update....

command is available and working in local clish but not in gclish

Following documentation Detection of IP Address Conflicts it should be run in gclish but can't

  • On Scalable Platforms (Maestro and Chassis), you must run the applicable commands in Gaia gClish of the applicable Security Group.

TAC case is open and I'll hope it will be merged to gclish.

If we run the command in local clish on the SGM, we could see that it only supports to enable this feature on the Mgmt interface, Sync interface,  it doesn't support to enable it on the Data interfaces.
