Maestro Masters
Round Table session with Maestro experts
Hello CheckMates,
with R81.10 it's now supported to mix the appliance hardware in a security group.
Are there any limitations or something to consider. We want to add two 15600 appliances to a security group with 7000.
One thing I know, we had to use the same line cards in all appliances, we had to add new 40GB line cards to the 15600 and remove all other.

Hi Wolfgang,
Please review the information & combinations published in sk162373 as a starting point.
Thanks @Chris_Atkinson
that's the table I need. Some other needed combinations are not possible 😞
I'm not surprised. True mix and match just sounded too good.
Yes @Danny , I agree with you. I thought that we can reuse some "older" appliances in new Maestro environments. But most of the needed combinations are not supported.
@Chris_Atkinson any changes planned ?
Hi Wolfgang,
Changes are likely subject to demand / business case (RFE).
If you have a need, please raise it with your local CP SE.
