We have 2 checkpoint 7000 series appliances in our environment and one open server SMS to manage both gateways. Starting from last week we have faced a problem of connecting to smartconsole through smart console and webGUI. "Unable to connect to server" & "A connection with the server lost error.". Our SMS is installed with a JHF of 161 until today. Early morning I have installed JHF 197. Still the problem persists.
We have 64GB memory and 20 CPU's for our SMS.
What are the main causes and how can i solve it? I appreciate your support on this.
