Policy Installation failed

Hi Everyone.

While installing the policy on the Gateway, I am encountering the following error:

Installation failed. Reason: TCP connectivity failure (port: 18191) (IP: 10.x.x.x) (error no. 10).”

Additionally, I am unable to open SK175164 in UserCenter for further troubleshooting.

Could you please help me investigate this issue and advise on the next steps?

Regards,

Rajashekar.

The error is self-explanatory. Your MGMT server cannot connect to your GW. Check if the GW is up, and if there are any third-party or GW own policy settings that can block this communications.

Did you by any chance disable implied rules in the policy?

Hi Val,

Good morning have a good day...!

I have checked the GW is up and working fine.

Did you by any chance disable implied rules in the policy?

No, I did not disable implied rules in the policy.

I order to view SKs you need to login in to the Support Center

In any case the SK describes a specific issue while the message basically states there is no connectivity to the Gateway.
Is it reachable from the Management (SSH or Ping)?

Do you have console or SSH access to the gateway?

Perform a tcpdump on the gateway to see if the traffic (port 18191) is seen from the management server and if the gateway is replying. If you see the traffic reaching the gateway, but there is no reply, perform a simple debug on the gateway to see if traffic is droppen. #fw ctl zdebug + drop.

And as @_Val_ already mentioned. Check implied rules.
