Create a support case from the clish or prompt
Hi - is it possible to create a support case from the clish or expert command prompt ?
I feel that I waste a lot of time going through the web form to create a case and fill in info that could be extracted from the system automatically.
I have created a support case some times via the GUI ( from the SmartConsole ) but when I only have a SSH to a firewall and need to quickly make a case and upload for example the cpinfo then it is a pain in the .. neck to get the support case started
( I spend most of my time in the prompt and not in the windows world with gui's and browsers )
The alternative:
Case made in "no time"..
Best regards

That said, you may want to look into Check Point PRO where we will proactively create a case for situations we see on your gateways that might require your attention.

Why should that be possible ? I can open an SR# at any time by phone and have it closed after a quick successful RAS, without leaving SSH at all...

I really like to do things myself and not end in an automated one-way street 8) - or do you think every second of your time is so valuable you need a one-button-for-all ?

@G_W_Albrecht - Ref: "..Do you think every second of your time is so valuable you need a one-button-for-all "
Why are you trying to talk me out of my question about if it can be done.
I would like that to be possible - end of that story - if you have a solution or a "no not possible" comment then ok, everything else is just spam here.

Recently been automated 😉 ? OK, no more human discussions, only pure solutions or answers, all else is spam !

Hi @PhoneBoy
Check Point PRO is a nice feature to handle and monitor your gateways proactive that said I find is enjoying you now have another system to monitor your assets and the recommendation pop up can be recommending a kernel upgrade or removing kernel conf parametre because it is not recommended.
i saw this in r80.20 were I had to enabled enable kernel params in fwkern.conf
now I have two different logs to monitor and maintain.

This sounds like a neat feature. I will look into adding it to cpinfo in the near future.
