Checkpoint VMSS Monitoring in Azure

Hello,

I'm wondering how you guys are monitoring the instances of a VMSS deployed in Azure. Usually we are using a SNMP extension to monitor if specific Checkpoint daemons are running because a simple host-alive check is to less.

Before I integrate the custom snmp extension into the custom gateway script of the VMSS template I would like to ask if there are any other ways to monitor the instances of a VMSS?
