Maestro Madness
I need all SmartConsole administrators to change their passwords because the password policy has changed. If I just change the policy in the SmartConsole -> Manage & Settings -> Permissions & Administrators -> Advanced -> Check Point Password Settings, nothing changes for existing administrators - they can use their current passwords. How can I force all administrators to change their passwords?
I use SmartConsole R80.40
Did you perform an Install Database on Management ? This is needed for the change, see the Management Admin Guide.
Yes, the policy is published and installed on Management
And did you set a new expiration date ? That should trigger the password renewal.
No. Where can I change it?
Either here:
Or for all Admin Accounts at once:
As far as I know, this is the expiration date of the administrator account. After it expires, the account will be unavailable. This does not affect the password
Use an Identity Provider - this makes that task very easy !
