Hello,
Google Chrome will be phasing out Manifest V2 in favor of V3, a long-planned transition. Manifest defines how extensions will function and their capabilities. With V3, extensions are faster and more secure. The trade-off is that they have less “power,” which contributes to increased security.
In the case of Harmony Web Protection, it will be impossible to monitor real-time traffic as I believe it currently does.
I just checked my browser (Microsoft Edge - Chromium-based) and the extension and manifest used is V2.
What is Check Point’s response regarding the imminent non-functionality of your extension?
Best regards.
