HTTPS Inspection causes a similar impact to explicit proxy in that it doubles the number of connections to track.
Therefore, the memory impact is probably similar.

HTTPS Inspection should perform better than explicit proxy mode as:

  • HTTPS Inspection is performed in Medium Path
  • Explicit Proxy support occurs via Slow (F2F) Path
