New Courses and Certificates for R81.10

Really nice to see some new courses and certifications 🙂
Many have been asking before how to extend CCSM Elite, will there be a CCSM / CCSM Elite for R81.10 aswell?

CCSM Elite can be extended by another Infinity Specialisation exam for a further 1-year.

How do i sign up for participation in Denmark? is that a burden on a danish vendor to supply?

Using the "ATC locator" there appears to be three ATC partners that you could enquire with in Denmark or attend an online option.

I just successfully ran an online CCSA R81.10 class last week here at Shadow Peak, and would be happy to answer any questions about how the course material including labs has changed.

Other than the course material itself, there really isn't any other prep material out there other than the CCSA practice exam available through Pearson/VUE for $50 USD.

The R81 CCSA/CCSE exams are currently in development and are planned for release in February.

The CCSM and CCSM Elite are not version-specific in the new certification model.  Any version of a Specialist exam can be combined to extend a core certification.  So a CCSM should extend the CCSM by passing the Infinity Specialist exams to get to CCSM Elite.  A CCSM Elite may extend for one year by passing another Specialist exam.  The earliest CCSM Elites were certified in January 2021 and valid until 2023.  With a one-year extension, they will be valid until 2024.  By this time we will share our plans for CCSM Elite renewal.

I have scheduled to take the CSSE R.80 exam in May. Will it be available at that time?

If not, the scheduled exam will have "converted" to CCSE R.81?

Only when an official announcement is made will we know more, until then nothing changes.

You would likely need to do so in accordance with the Pearson VUE cancellation policy, believe this is outlined on the exam booking confirmation email. Sorry I'm not aware of another way.

I don't want the course, just the book.

Make sure you are signed in with your User Center account then try to go to https://catalog.checkpoint.com,then Training...Courseware Kits.   I don't think you need to be a Check partner to access the catalog but have no way to test that assumption.
