How can we take a backup in check point. What is the use?

HI, i found this link useful to get knowledge about backup and snapshot. As i can see there are three backup tools. 

migrate export-

eva_db_backup.csh

evs_backup - 

            mds_backup-

But i could not find the method/way/process to perform the backup. Any link or video guide?
