Are those your own questions, or did you get them somewhere?

Regarding Google those are from Braindumps.

This will be just an additional resource for studies 😉. There are no guarantees that by using the app you'll pass the exam.

You have to define the questions and answers yourself! Here is another example from your video that proves you are using Braindump questions, which is not allowed. Even the upper and lower case letter are identitcal. Also it's not part of the PDF you linked to.

Many users use braindumps to pass certifications. Unfortunately, that's life. In job interviews, however, you can quickly see the technical knowledge and in some cases this differs greatly. You can quickly see if there were braindumps involved in the certifications or the employee has real knowledge.

I'm a big fan of real knowledge. That's the only way we can develop in life.

PS:
Are these only 10 questions in the APP?

This conversation won't be helpful at all!

In regards to the question you mentioned, by coincidence I took it from Check Point site: https://www.checkpoint.com/training/ccsa/chapter1/

As for the app, I'll be using also questions available on the internet because they already exist.

What is the difference between using Check Point quiz and other sources?

What I plan to do is just to put all this information into a single place.

Wow. Not good.

Using questions from Check Point's CCSA practice questions website once you got permission to use it in your app (it's still Check Point's intellectual property) sounds ok. These questions may or may not pop up within the actual CCSA exam, which depends on Check Point. By using braindumps from the internet that are taken directly from real exams you support cheating which is not ok at all. Keep in mind that Check Point invests approx. $2000 for every single question developed. It makes a huge difference if you use Check Points practice questions (if you have permission to do so!) or real braindumps. The only way to stay safe is to develop your own set of question and answers.

Silesio,

@Danny already clarified the legal aspect. Don't forget you would be using someone's else IP! That brings along responsibilities (depending on the license or agreement) and opens your app for legal action should the owners of said IP decided to carry out some sort of legal action (Disclaimer: I am not a lawyer nor work for the legal team! Send an email to the legal team for clarifications please!)

What I highly recommend you to do, is to dump the dump questions (No pun intended) and take R80's documentation which is publicly available in CHKP's knowledge base and create questions from said material. Not only would you be NOT using questions taken out from the exam but you would be also creating new questions which I am sure are not anywhere else, adding a huge plus and differentiator to your app!

Just to clarify a couple things:

  • Using the Check Point logo without formal permission is bad form at the very least.
  • We allow a lot of conversations about a lot of things on CheckMates, but one thing we have a fairly strict policy on is people either posting, asking, or sharing any material that comes from "brain dumps" for the official exams we offer. Anyone doing that earns a permaban.

While I appreciate the intent behind this app, I would be extra careful about where you're sourcing the questions for the app.

All that said, I like the flash card concept.
I actually developed something similar for the Periodic Table on a VAX/VMS system in the late 1980s.
It ran on a VT-100 terminal of all things.
It even became a high school science project of sorts. 🙂
