Hi,

Just did the CCVS yesterday and passed, but the questions are based on pre R81 and that created some confusion in each version are the question talking about. In R81 several changes happen. The links should point previous Admin guides or update the exam with new content.

The examination 156-550 today is based on R80.x or on R81 on this Check Point is not very clear on the information it makes available.
Finally, the exam consists of 75 questions correct ?

The course/exam will be updated to R81.x in due course, usually when this occurs it will be given a new exam number.

I see there is new course VSX Specialist R81.1 (CCVS) and exam#156-551.

Is this successor to Check Point Certified VSX Specialist (CCVS) and exam#156-550?

The 156-550 is still listed as Infinity exam (so it counts towards obtaining CCSM and CCSM-Elite) while the new 156-551 is listed under new exams, but it does not have Infinity designation. Does it mean it will not count towards CCSM/CCSM-Elite?

156-551 is the successor for 156-550.
Both count towards your Infinity specialization.

When will this exam be available I do not see it available under Pearsonvue unfortunately

The new exam is not yet listed at vue.com/checkpoint/exams
I expect it to be available with the new VSX courses.
First schedules are available end of this month.

For now I have taken the old exam again to get certified again, expecting my master status to be renewed then as well as I have passed all the other examen again (CCSA R81.1 CCSE R81.1 CCME R81.1 and old VSX)
