CCSE R80 expired

Hi community,

my CCSE R80.10 expired last Jan 2021, I wonder if I need to re-do CCSE (156-315.80 or 156-915.80) or could I recertify doing CCSM (156-115.80).

Regards,

While we still have the R80 CCSM exam available (until 31 March) you qualify to sit that exam to get the CCSM.  Your R80 CCSE does not have to be current to take that exam.

Getting an extension requires you to have a valid CCSE and in the New model you will only be able to reach CCSM with a valid CCSE.

The same applies to the R80 CCSE Update exam.  While it is available, you may recertify the CCSE with that exam even if your CCSE is expired.  After 31 March, you will have to recertify using the regular R80 CCSE exam (156-315.80).

Hope this helps.

Hey,

You will need to recertify the R80 CCSE; afterwards you may pass specialist exams for recertifcation and ultimately to receive your CCSM.

More details can be obtained from sk163417.

As far as I know this new certification model (which I have linked before) has gone to the active state with the 31st January 2021.

But seems like the grace period for CCSE renewal has been extended to the 31st March. I was not aware of that.

@Jason_Tugwellmaybe you can double check my statement before this isn't correct at all 😅
