Bond Creation

1, can i add eth1 and eth 1-1 to the same bond 0 (fiber and RJ45)

set interface bond0 state on

set interface eth1 state on

set interface eth1-1 state on

 

add bonding group 0 interface eth1
add bonding group 0 interface eth1-1

2,  can i dirctly connect WAF to checkpoint firewall?

1. As long as they are the same speed, definitely. If they're different speeds, it should let you add them to a bond, but they may not work quite how you expect.

2. Of course. If you set up your routing properly, you can directly connect almost anything. Just keep in mind direct connections without switches in the path generally aren't great for availability.

If this is a firewall cluster you will need switches between the firewalls & WAF.
