2FA RemoteAccess VPN Configuration using mail

Hi,

We need to configure the 2FA using mail in RemoteAccess VPN. We want to use Gmail.

We have tested this script:

mail:TO=$EMAIL;SMTPSERVER=smtps://user mail:password@smtp.gmail.com;FROM=user mail;BODY=$RAWMESSAGE

But it´s not correct, because it gives me a DynamicID error (The error says: "Failed to send DynamicID").

¿Must be the password an application password?.

Can you help us please.

AFAIK, Goole SMTP does not support simple password-based authentication anymore, try with another server first.

Actually, you can use Gmail if you generate an Application-Specific password.
